Pastor Paul informs me that, Arthur Brooks, who is our regional representative for The Leprosy Mission is our speaking tomorrow (Sunday 09 September 2006).
Paul also informs me that all the usual events and activities happening at the church will be fully operational next week.

Betty has published the list of speakers for the women’s fellowship until Christmas, to see the list please visit the women’s fellowship page. Betty is beginning the term with the topic, ‘say it with flowers’ on 7 September.

Speaking to Jenny Riseley this morning on the phone, she tells me that the electrician will complete the work in the church by Saturday evening and will have cleared his equipment away. Actually there is no real news to post, but I wanted to remind everyone that the church is not meeting at the Godstone Road premises due to electrical work.
There is information available on August events if you are interested and I hope to post news of what is happening in September when I receive it.

During August, the church will be out of use due to the work being done on the electrics. This means that there will be no Sunday services (either morning or evening) in the church for this period (6, 13, 20, 27 August). People may go to whichever other fellowship that they wish to, but many [...]

On Saturday July 15 (next Saturday), Betty G. is hosting a Musical Evening in aid of the appeal for the electrical re-wiring. The time for this is 7:30pm. There will be various musical acts and the evening will be hosted by Betty Grover. Top-of-the-bill - Miguel Luzquinos.
